The ultimate goal of Trench Wars is the development and maintenance of an online community that fosters teamwork and camaraderie among its members. By providing an environment that promotes integrity, good sportsmanship and fun, Trench Wars strives to remain as one of the Internet’s best online gaming communities.
By embracing the following values, Trench Wars can fulfill it’s objective stated above and below. We acknowledge that we are, first and foremost, a gaming community that should represent the highest level of play for an online game. Teamwork is a primarily consideration for our community since we believe that there is nothing we can do as individuals that we cannot do better as a team.
Additionally, we are dedicated to a singleness of purpose and insist upon open communication and mutual support for one another in every aspect of our community. The members of our community shall act with fairness and integrity in everything they do, players are expected to take personal responsibility and understand they are held accountable for their actions. We firmly believe that sustained success will result from our collective ability to continually strive for improvement in each and every aspect of what we do and who we are.
Trench Wars Objectives
To maintain what we (Trench Wars) are all about, the list of Zone Objectives below will allow us to expand and improve the zone in a focused direction. A more detailed look of what Trench Wars has to offer can be found; here.
-To maintain the game play focus of this zone; Basing, and to promote it to newer players and establish it within the community (Publics), while not neglecting other aspects of Trench Wars, such as the dueling aspect of Trench Wars.
-To maintain a strong presence of automation in the zone, to ensure smoother operations, such as Hosted Events, Trench Wars Leagues and Tourny. While the Bot System in Trench Wars plays a major role in the zone, communication between Staff and the Player Base is essential. Therefore staff are to converse with players when it is necessary (For Example; ?help calls/Hosted Events/Complaints etc) or at their own will.
-To continue to provide the players of Trench Wars, with exciting and varied hosted events. Popular events are expected to be hosted often, but not to the point where they are over hosted and lose their enjoyment. Events are also to be hosted accordingly to the population in the one at that time. EG: Zombies would be good with 400+ players online
-To maintain strict procedures with rules and cheaters, while providing some leniency where it is due in some circumstances. Rules will be made clear and updated accordingly, to remove confusion as to any wrongdoings and unlawful behaviour.
-To allow worldwide accessibility to the zone, creating a diverse populated zone, but not just based on player location, but personality, age and gender. There will also be sufficient staff online at all times, so that player’s requests and questions can be acted upon as quickly as possible.
-To maintain the competitiveness within the zone, by introducing new players to TWD and TWL respectively.
